Solid presentation skills are critical in today’s business environment. This seminar, led by Megan Harrison, focuses on what makes a great presentation from a content and visual perspective. Students will learn how to develop and structure content that is relevant, impactful, and will connect with your audience. Students are encouraged to bring a presentation they may need help refining.

Instructor Megan Harrison has served as a frontline fundraiser for ten years, developing new initiatives and leading fundraising strategies that include private foundation support, annual giving, sponsorship programs, and large events. She works as the Director of Development for the Center of Vital Longevity at the University of Texas at Dallas and is responsible for building relationships with private funders in support of The Center’s cutting-edge research on the brain and aging mind. Megan has also served as the Vice President of Sponsorship and Annual Giving at Klyde Warren Park, Director of Development for the Dallas Zoo, and was an integral part of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science’s Capital Campaign team. Prior to her work in non-profit, Megan spent several years in sales working for the Dallas Business Journal. Megan holds a Bachelors in Marketing and Management from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, is a graduate of the Executive MBA program at the Naveen Jindal School of Business at the University of Texas at Dallas, and a graduate of Leadership Dallas.
